I finagled a bill or two and came up with gas money for tomorrow. We'll take the kids to my Mom's and trade them in for her for the day. They'll help Aunt Kelly and Uncle Anthony move into their new house and Chris, my Mom and I are going on a day trip to see her brother and his wife. She was beside herself with worry about him while he was in the hospital in Michigan and not being able to go to them when they've always come to us when someone is hospitalized just about killed all our souls. So anyway, we're going on a day trip to see how they're doing. My brother called this afternoon and said Mom can't wait for tomorrow to get here.

  1. Karen, have a safe trip and maybe you'll tell us how it went?

  4. Hello Gloria. Sorry I didn't reply to you sooner. I don't always get back here to check my blog for comments. The trip went really well. My Mom was so happy to see her little brother and his wife. We just sat around and chatted for a few hours and my Aunt made us a wonderful chicken and rice casserole for lunch. We went to the cemetery where my grandparents are buried and took a few pictures there and then we came back home. It was a fast but very nice visit. Thanks for following me Gloria. Off to check out your blog too. Have a great night!
